Telephoto lenses are incredible, but their photography tripod mounts aren’t designed for filmmaking.
From inventive uses of riser blocks, strapping the lens with cable ties, or even forgoing support entirely, we’ve seen no end of risky rigs in order to mount these large lenses on cinema cameras.
We decided to change that.

A weight off your mind
(and lens mount)
With its unique curved profile, Rigfoot swings straight onto your lens support when mounting the lens.
Easily swap telephoto lenses on and off your rig – without the need to disassemble anything.
3/8" thread
Securely attached regardless of camera orientation and doesn’t rely on gravity to prop up your lens
Undersling
Support your lens from top rods and forego the need for a baseplate entirely
Uses original screws
Rigfoot replaces the original photography tripod foot and uses the same screws
Hood compatible
With 15mm LWS versions, Rigfoot sits neatly even with the hood reversed, making packing in cases much easier
Designed for use with support rods at industry standard heights.
Your baseplate should already conform to this.
Rigfoot is profiled to fit the most popular lens supports.
Compatibility with other lens supports (Smallrig, Vocas, Zacuto etc) is possible though not guaranteed.

*Lens is compatible, however due to its weight, we suggest 19mm studio support would be more suitable.
Don’t see your lens listed?
We’re working on making Rigfoot compatible with more lenses, though it’s useful to know which lenses our customers are using so that we can prioritise those which are most needed.
