We’re a small team of filmmakers and engineers who… Okay, I’ll come clean. I’ll let you in to a little secret.
We is just me. My name is Alex Stone.
I’m a filmmaker who couldn’t find suitable solutions to the needs I had on set and decided to solve them myself. I quickly discovered that others faced the same problems and that my products could help them too.
I now have my own workshop, machinery and the audacity to call myself an engineer.
I personally design and manufacture every product before using and abusing them myself on film shoots all around the world and in all conditions.
They are therefore designed with the end user in mind and are built without compromise. If you made your own gear, wouldn’t you want it to be the best too?
Why do I use the third person elsewhere on the site and say us, our and we? In a way, Minifab is not only me – it’s also the products themselves, the customer service and the legacy too. It’s the whole brand and everything that it represents.
